Ajmer. In Ajmer’s Kishangarh, four armed robbers took the family members hostage and robbed them of cash and ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and ran away. The incident is of Badhuwar Alsubah in Madanganj police station area. Blockade is being done in the entire Kishangarh area to nab the robbers.
According to the police, Sanjay Lakhotia, a marble entrepreneur, resident of Radhakrishna Bihar Colony, has gone to get his daughter’s admission in a college in Bangalore on Monday itself. Four armed robbers in a white car came from behind in the early hours and entered through a small door at the back of the house. As soon as he entered the house, he took Sanjay’s nephew hostage in the room. One of the robbers hit him in the face with a hammer. He then took her to the upstairs room, where she woke up Sanjay’s wife Manisha and beat her up. Here a robber also fired in the air.
During this, a robber fired another gun while pointing at Sanjay’s nephew, but he survived. Shrapnel from the gun spread throughout the room. After this the robbers took out the Saif locker kept in the room and the bag full of notes kept in the cupboard. Then the robbers came out of the house threatening everyone to keep quiet and got into the car and fled.
After getting information, Deputy Bhupendra Sharma, CI Manish Singh May Japta reached the spot and inquired about the incident. It is not yet known how much cash and jewelery was taken away by the robbers. It will be known only after Sanjay Lakhotia reaches Kishangarh.
