Ajmer. Thieves took off the jewelery bag at Ajmer bus stand of a woman going from Sikar to Sojat. The thieves are seen leaving with the bag in the CCTV camera. The Civil Lines police station is looking for the gang.

According to police, Sikar resident Varsha Meena reported that she boarded a roadways bus from Jaipur to Sojat. On reaching Ajmer, some miscreants stole his bag at the bus stand. Varsha told that the bag contained 3 tola of gold jewelery and cash, clothes and other items of 7 thousand rupees. After the victim gave a report in the matter, the police checked the footage of the CCTV camera at the Central Bus Stand. In the footage, three youths are seen leaving the main entrance of the bus stand. In which a young man had a bag of Varsha Meena. Police started searching for the accused from the CCTV footage.

He had confessed to having an Android mobile phone from the woman passenger in the tempo at the bus stand, 20 thousand rupees from the woman traveling in the tempo from near Anasagar lake and committing the crime with the devotees at the Pushkar fair.

SP formed team

SP Vikas Sharma constituted a special team to check the incidents of road accidents happening across the district.
