Kerala Police has busted a gang involved in money laundering or hawala racket through cryptocurrency. The police have arrested four people in this case. According to Kannur police, Muhammad Rias, C. Shafiq, Munawwar Ali and Muhammad Shafiq have been arrested for embezzling crores of investors’ money. At the same time, the leader of this gang Nishad is absconding. Police said that the accused took around Rs 100 crore from investors through a website running under the name of a fake company. While the remaining amount was deposited in Nishad’s account.
