Bavaria Gang Busted, Three Vicious Arrested

Bavaria gang had committed incidents, confessed to commit four incidents in the city including Pushkar fair, confiscated the car used in the incident

Ajmer. Recently, the Bavaria gang had carried out incidents of road rage in the city on passenger vehicles and crowded public places. While disclosing this on Monday, the Civil Line Police Station has exposed the Bavaria gang. The police have arrested three people including the gang leader. The car used in the crime has been recovered from them. The accused have confessed to carrying out four incidents of Rahajani including devotees who came to Christian Ganj Police Station, Civil Line and Pushkar Fair in the city. The police is intensively investigating the accused.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (North) Dr. Priyanka Raghuvanshi said that due to Pushkar fair and marriage ceremony in the city, there has been an increase in the incidents of pocket-picking and bag theft in the crowd. Under the direction of Acting Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Tevatia, a team was formed under the leadership of Civil Line Police Officer Arvind Singh Charan to curb the incidents and catch the gang. When the police team examined the CCTV footage of Abhay Command Center, while tracing the activities of three youths, Alwar MI Police Station Barla resident Monu Bavaria, Suresh Bavaria and Rakesh Bavaria resident of Bagpath Binoli Khaprana of UP caught. The accused were interrogated psychologically to reveal the incidents. The police recovered the car used in the crime from the accused. The police seized a stolen mobile phone and an amount of Rs 93 thousand 600 from them.

Target crowded places

Dr. Raghuvanshi told that the gang targets crowded places, fairs and other programs. The gang makes a group of 3-4 persons and goes in a luxury car. The gang’s henchmen park the car on the parking lot and search for the victim in the congested area at different places. Distracting their attention, stealing their purse or bag and leaving the car.

The purse contained Rs 50,000 and Aadhar card. When the police arrested the accused in this case and interrogated them, they also confessed to other incidents.

Special role of Ramnaresh-Sanjay
Dr. Raghuvanshi told that constables Ramnaresh and Sanjay Kumar played a special role in the team formed in the incident. Both the constables closely watched the CCTV footage from the Abhay Command Center. On deepening the suspicion on the accused, the police took all three into custody and interrogated them. Sub-inspector Dinesh Kumar, ASI Chand Singh, constable Banwarilal, Dinesh Kumar, Dipendra Kumar, Rakesh, Surendra Singh, Chandraprakash and Abhay Command Center constable Shriram are involved in the action.
